The ATHINAIKON has received the Special Signal Quality Greek cuisine from the Greek Tourism Organization.
Greek National Tourism Organization having decided already in 1999 to proceed with the creation of a certificate to be able to ensure the quality of Greek dishes, created this mark, certifying that the company that holds offers an excellent Greek cuisine and service level.
What the Special seals of Greek Cuisine asks restaurateurs is if dishes are made with good quality olive oil, salads with olive oil too Greek feta and if Greek fried potatoes are in no way pre-fried. The “Greek salad” should also include tomatos, cucumbers, onions, pepper, olives, oregano, feta cheese and olive oil.
